From the Refuge Manager -Opportunities & Hiring Strategies

This video was recorded by the Project Leader in an effort to provide local youth with tips and tricks for acquiring Federal jobs. The presentation was first given to graduating high schoolers in Kahuku in February of 2023, then modified to the virtual format for reaching a wider audience. By posting it to our site we hope that it will reach more young people across O‘ahu. FONWR shares the Project Leader’s vision of recruiting more local and indigenous youth to Hawaii-based conservation careers.
